SUKKUR: Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Junior made a brief visit to Dadu, where he expressed deep sorrow over multiple tragic incidents and offered condolences to the families of victims.

He visited the family of PPP Shaheed Bhutto leader Dr Allah Bakhsh Panhor, who recently died in a fire incident, and also met with the relatives of those who lost their lives in the Gul Plaza fire incident in Karachi.

Talking to the media, ZA Bhutto Jr lamented the loss of precious lives in the Gul Plaza incident, calling it a reflection of the overall poor state of affairs in Sindh. He criticised the substandard construction practices in the province, noting that buildings were not built on proper standards and there was a lack of oversight on construction quality and safety provisions.

He expressed solidarity with the affected families, including rescue workers who suffered losses during the emergency response. Bhutto Jr also highlighted the ongoing dangers on Sindh’s roads, where open drains have caused the deaths of innocent children. He accused the Sindh government of committing negligence and indifference towards the citizens, saying: “Public frustration with the Pakistan Peoples Party is growing”.

ZA Bhutto Jr also extended condolences to the family of Nadir Jamali, who was killed in an alleged police encounter in Dadu, showing support for their grief. His visit underscores the party’s ongoing concerns about safety, governance, and law enforcement in Sindh, with calls for improved standards and accountability.
