ABBOTTABAD: In a coordinated rescue effort, the police located and evacuated three tourists who went missing amid severe weather conditions in the Nathiagali in Galiyat valley.

The operation was conducted under the directives of DIG, Hazara region, Nasir Mahmood Satti and the supervision of DPO Abbottabad Haroon Rasheed Khan.According to official sources, the three tourists, Zahid (son of Umar Shahzad), Khanzada Shehan (son of Nasir Ali Khan), and Umar (son of Muhammad Ahmad), all residents of Multan, lost their way on January 9 while visiting Miranjani Top. Heavy snowfall, rugged terrain, and hazardous pathways left them stranded.

Upon receiving the report, and official said, the Abbottabad Police immediately launched a search operation. After two days of sustained efforts, he said, all three tourists were safely located in phases and moved to a secure location.The rescued tourists praised the professionalism, dedication, and timely response of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police.
