PESHAWAR: Police and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) were investigating two grenade attacks in the provincial capital in the last couple of days.
An official said the teams of police and CTD visited the spots in the last couple of days and collected evidence.
In the first incident in Landi Arbab, the hujra of chairman of the Rah-e-Haq Party and former MPA Ibrahim Qasmi was attacked with a hand-grenade. No casualty was reported in the attack. A day later, a motor bargain on Ring Road was attacked with a grenade that damaged a car but didn’t cause any casualty. This is after a long time that grenades were used in attacks, targeting a politician and a businessman.
