ISLAMABAD: Appointments and transfers were made in the federal bureaucracy on Tuesday.

Shahzad Iqbal has been appointed as Member (Gas) in the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra). He has been appointed on a contract basis in the MP-1 scale for a period of three years, and the appointment will take effect from the date he assumes charge of the office.

In another development, Ahmed Talha Wali, a Grade-18 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan, has been transferred. The services of SP Ahmed Talha Wali, who was serving under the Punjab government, have been placed at the disposal of Federal Investigation Agency.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister has appointed Abdul Waheed as Deputy Director (GRC) PPS-10 in the National Telecom and Information Security Board (NTISB). This appointment has been made on a contract basis for one year or until the completion of the project under the “Cyber Security for Digital Pakistan Phase-I” initiative, whichever comes earlier, and is effective immediately. The Establishment Division has formally issued notifications of the appointments and transfers.
