LAHORE: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) and the Bahrain Football Association (BFA) have entered into a landmark partnership aimed at strengthening technical, administrative, and grassroots development, with a particular focus on women’s football and futsal.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed at the BFA headquarters in Riffa by Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the BFA Board of Directors, and Syed Mohsin Gilani, President of the PFF, in the presence of BFA Secretary-General Rashid Al-Zoubi.

The agreement sets out a roadmap for collaboration across multiple areas of football development. Key provisions include joint training camps, friendly matches, and talent development initiatives designed to prepare national and age-group teams for regional and international competitions. The MoU also emphasizes refereeing development and the improvement of administrative and technical standards through training courses, capacity-building programs, and specialized workshops aligned with international best practices.
