ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday condemned a drone strike on a private school in the Moski area of North Waziristan, demanding the government clarify under whose directives the operation was carried out.
Reacting to the incident, the party noted that the strike reportedly left the school principal, staff members and Rescue 1122 personnel seriously injured. The party underlined that the state is constitutionally bound to safeguard the lives and security of its citizens, particularly in fragile regions still struggling to recover from decades of conflict and instability.
Meanwhile, the party expressed unwavering solidarity with the Kashmiri people on the eve of Right to Self-Determination Day and strongly condemned ongoing state terrorism, gross human rights violations, extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances and systematic attempts to alter the demographic composition of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by the supremacist and extremist government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
