SUKKUR: A devastating gas cylinder explosion in Luhr Colony, Larkana, resulted in the death of a woman and left 14 others injured --men, women, and children.
The blast was powerful enough to cause the collapse of the roofs of three houses belonging to Mukhtiar Jatoi, Qurban Mughiri, and Irfan Rind.
Rescue 1122 team along with municipal staff and local residents rushed to the scene and pulled out the dead woman, Yasmin Mugheri, and the injured from the rubble.
The injured, including children, were shifted to the trauma centre for treatment, where their condition was said to be critical.
According to local residents, the explosion occurred due to a gas cylinder blast in Mukhtiar Jatoi’s house, which triggered the collapse of the roofs of the adjacent houses.
