KARACHI: Gold prices fell by Rs4,000 per tola on Tuesday in the local market following a decline in international rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped to Rs450,862 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs3,429, bringing it down to Rs386,541.
In the international market, gold rates fell by $40, settling at $4,285 per ounce. Local gold prices are typically adjusted with a premium of $20 over international rates.Silver prices remained unchanged at Rs6,532 per tola. The price of 10-gram silver also stood the same at Rs5,600.
