LAKKI MARWAT: Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed formally inaugurated the newly established model police station in Lakki Marwat city.Regional Police Officer Sajjad Khan, Deputy Commissioner Hameedullah Khan, DPO Lakki Marwat Nazir Khan and area elders were present on the occasion.
The provincial police officer said on the occasion that the model police station had been set up under the project to restore, expand and rebuild police infrastructure on modern lines in the province.
The IGP said that provision of better and quick service delivery to the citizens was the top priority of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, adding that the establishment of the model police station based on the best infrastructure and equipped with modern facilities will help the area police to maintain law and order in the area. During a meeting with local elders, the IGP acknowledged their role in establishing lasting peace in the region.
