JAMRUD: Solar system and air conditioners (ACs) were installed on Thursday in two halls and rooms of the Jamrud Press Club on the instructions of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi.The facilities were formally inaugurated by the Chief Minister’s focal person for PK-70, Shamsher Khan.
President of the Press Club Sajid Ali, elder Jahanzeb Khan, journalists and others were present on the occasion. Those present at the ceremony hoped the facilities would benefit journalists. They said the installation of a modern solar system and ACs would make it easier for the journalist community to carry out their professional responsibilities.
