ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has accepted the resignation of Secretary General National Assembly (NA) Secretariat Tahir Hussain, with effect from January 1, 2026.
Hussain has resigned from the post citing personal reasons.
It is to be mentioned here that the speaker had given extension to Secretary General NA Secretariat Tahir Hussain in July for one year and his extension was to be expired on July 2026. However, he has resigned from the post some six months before the expiry of his extension in service.
