PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court Chief Justice SM Attique Shah officially inaugurated the evening courts here on Tuesday.
The chief justice opened the second-shift courts at a ceremony where the PHC Registrar Muhammad Zeb and several other judicial officers were present.The chief justice inspected the court and told the judges to ensure quick justice for people so pending cases could be finished fast.
Speaking to the reporters, the PHC registrar said that evening courts were first started in Abbottabad and now two second-shift courts were working in Peshawar. He explained that the main idea was to provide justice quickly.
