LAHORE:The Annual Chrysanthemum Show at Lahore’s Jilani Park continued to receive tremendous public interest and strong official appreciation.In this regard, Excise and Taxation Punjab DG Umar Sher Chattha and LDA DG Tahir Farooq also visited the exhibition on Tuesday for a detailed review.

During the visit, Managing Director, Horticulture Agency Lahore, Raja Mansoor Ahmad, briefed the distinguished guests on the arrangements, creative floral designs, and the wide range of chrysanthemum varieties showcased at the event. He informed that this year’s exhibition features more than 200 varieties of chrysanthemums, attracting visitors not only from Lahore but also from several other cities.

Umar Sher Chattha, appreciated the floral décor, thematic layouts, and overall management of the exhibition. He stated that the Chrysanthemum Show is providing citizens with healthy, high-quality recreational opportunities. He praised the visually appealing landscape of Jilani Park, calling it a testament to the hard work and professional competence of the Horticulture Agency Lahore. LDA DG Tahir Farooq described the exhibition as a cultural pride of Lahore, noting that such events not only promote environmentally friendly activities but also offer families a refreshing and enjoyable outing. He encouraged citizens to visit the Chrysanthemum Show with their families, adding that the vibrant colors, artistic arrangements, and natural fragrances appeal to people of all ages. Thousands of citizens are visiting the exhibition daily, and the Horticulture Agency has made special arrangements to ensure better facilities and a pleasant environment for the public.
