Chaudhry Inam Zafar, a political and social leader, hailed the appointment of Field Marshal Asim Munir as the first Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) as historic, stating that he truly deserves this position. He noted that this appointment unifies the command of all armed forces under a single center, enhancing defense structure and national security, says a press release.
Chaudhry Inam Zafar praised General Munir’s leadership abilities and stated that under his leadership, the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Cyber Forces will operate under a unified command, granting him exceptional authority over military policy, strategic assets, and nuclear command. As a five-star Field Marshal, his position will be a milestone in institutional history.He added that General Munir’s leadership and diplomatic engagements will enhance Pakistan’s strategic significance.
The leadership of the Awaam Pakistan Party, including Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Miftah Ismail, and Sardar Mehtab Khan, along with party workers and the public, congratulated and paid tribute to General Munir on his new rank.
