ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has convened meeting of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) on December 30 to consider promotions of BS-17 officers of Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service, and Office Management Group to BS-18, while a for promotions of officers from BS-18 to BS-19 will also be held on December 23 (Tuesday).
According to the notification issued by Establishment Division, the meeting will review cases related to promotions of officers belonging to PAS, PSP, and OMG.
The DPC meeting will be chaired by Secretary of the Establishment Division, while Provincial Secretaries of Services, Additional Inspectors General of Police, and relevant Joint Secretaries will also be part of the committee. Promotions will be approved in light of officers’ seniority, performance reports, and legal requirements.
The Establishment Division has stated the working paper and agenda for DPC meeting will be issued soon.
The meeting for promotions of officers of PAS, PSP, and OMG from
Grade-18 to Grade-19 will also be held on December 23 (Tuesday) at 10 am under the chairmanship of Secretary of Establishment Division.
During this meeting, promotion cases of PAS, PSP, OMG officers, as well as ex-cadre officers of the Establishment Division from BS-18 to 19, will be considered.
