ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), under the Revenue Division of the federal government, has issued notifications of transfers and postings of Grade-19 to Grade-21 officers of the Inland Revenue Service, which will come into effect immediately and will remain in force until further orders.
According to the notification, Grade-21 officer Zubair Bilal has been transferred from Chief Commissioner, Large Taxpayers Office Karachi, to Member (Inland Revenue Operations),
Federal Board of Revenue Headquarters, Islamabad. Grade 20 officer Shabih Al-Ijaz has been transferred from Large Taxpayers Office Karachi to Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue (OPS), Large Taxpayers Office Karachi. Javed Iqbal Sheikh, Grade-20, has been retained as Commissioner (Zone IV), Large Taxpayers Office, Karachi, and has been given the additional charge of Commissioner (Refunds), Large Taxpayers Office, Karachi, in accordance with the rules. Nisar Ahmed Burki, Grade-19, has been transferred from Additional Commissioner, Large Taxpayers Office, Karachi, to Commissioner Inland Revenue (OPS), Zone I, Large Taxpayers Office, Karachi.
The notification clarified that officers who were previously receiving a performance allowance will continue to receive it at their new posting. All officers have been directed to submit their relinquishing and assumption-of-charge reports to the FBR immediately, so that records can be updated and further necessary action can be taken.
