RAWALPINDI: The security forces eliminated seven Khwarij belonging to the Indian-proxy Fitna Al-Khwarij in two separate engagements in North Waziristan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. On receiving reports of the presence of Khwarij, an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) was conducted by the security forces in the general area of Mir Ali.

During the operation, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location, and after an intense fire exchange, six Khwarij were sent to hell.

Another IBO was conducted in the general area of Spinwam, where, in the ensuing fire exchange, one more Khariji was effectively neutralised by the security forces.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Indian-sponsored Khwarij, who had remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces, law enforcement agencies, and target killing of innocent civilians. Sanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Khariji found in the area, as the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam” by the security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
