KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs2,700 per tola on Monday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association stated that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs446,862 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,315 to Rs383,112.
Gold rates increased by $27 to $4,245 per ounce in the international market. Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates increased by Rs54 to Rs5,963 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs46 to Rs5,112.
