KARACHI: LOLC Microfinance Bank has partnered with Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited to shift its technology operations to PTCL Smart Cloud, aiming to scale its digital services nationwide.
The agreement was signed in Islamabad by LOLC CEO Farooq Rashid and PTCL and Ufone 4G’s Group Chief Business Solutions Officer Asif Ahmad, in the presence of senior leadership from both organisations.
The move gives LOLC access to PTCL’s cloud infrastructure and data management capabilities, supporting the bank’s plan to expand secure and efficient digital services for its microfinance customers. PTCL said the partnership reflects its broader role in strengthening the country’s telecom and digital banking ecosystem.
