KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs5,300 per tola on Saturday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs444,162 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs4,544 to Rs380,797.
Gold rates increased by $53 to $4,218 per ounce in the international market.
Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
Silver rates increased by Rs267 to Rs5,909 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs229 to Rs5,066.
