40 cops dismissed for not fighting terrorists reinstated

KOHAT: Kohat Regional Police Officer (RPO) Abbas Majeed Marwat has reinstated 40 suspended police personnel, who had earlier been dismissed for refusing to fight terrorists.

District Police Officer Orakzai Shaukat Ali and police personnel of Kohat Region praised DIG Kohat Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat for this historic decision.

RPO Kohat Region issued orders for the reinstatement of 40 dismissed personnel from Orakzai district. The decision was widely appreciated by the public and police circles.

After the decision, the RPO and District Police Officer (DPO) Orakzai Shaukat Ali held a special meeting with the reinstated personnel.

During the meeting, the RPO and DPO Orakzai said that this decision would not only strengthen the police force but also open a new door of hope and prosperity for these personnel and their families.

They said that the reinstated personnel must perform their duties in the future with full responsibility, honesty and professionalism. Discipline, performance, and public service would always remain the top priorities in the police force.

They expressed their commitment that all legal and professional facilities would be provided to the reinstated personnel so that they could effectively resume their role in police service.

The reinstated cops also thanked the RPO and DPO, expressing their resolve to stand firm against terrorism and fulfill their duties with greater dedication, honesty and a spirit of service.
