ISLAMABAD: A series of appointments and transfers have been announced in the federal bureaucracy. Captain (retd) Muhammad Mahmood, a grade 21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service presently serving in the Housing and Works Division, has been transferred.
His services have been placed at the disposal of the Ministry of National Health, where he has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Jinnah Medical Complex and Research Center on deputation for a period of three years.
Similarly, the services of Rifatullah Khan, a grade 18 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan currently posted in the Federal Constabulary, have been handed over to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. The deputation of Sara Malik, a grade 18 officer of the Information Group serving as Deputy Director in the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), has been extended for one year, effective from May 18, 2025.
In another development, Nadia Shah, a senior lecturer at Dow University, has been appointed as Additional Directing Staff at the National School of Public Policy, Lahore, for a period of three years. The leave of Establishment Division Section Officer Rehan Rasheed has been extended by 60 days.
Moreover, the deputation of Dr. Ahmed Zeb, a medical officer of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department serving on deputation in Islamabad, has been extended for two years. The Establishment Division has issued notifications of these appointments and transfers.
