The president of Pakistan and chief scout of Pakistan has declared the meeting to be held at the Pakistan Scouts Cadet College Batrasee Mansehra on October 10 illegal and cancelled.
While taking notice of the current situation of the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association, he has directed the Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training to convene a meeting of the National Council in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association in light of the decision of the Islamabad High Court to hold elections for the chief commissioner.
The tenure of the previous chief commissioner of the association had expired on October 3, 2025, while according to the rules, the international commissioner was to assume the responsibilities of the acting chief commissioner, but his appointment could not be ratified by the president and chief scout, due to which both these positions were vacant.
