KARACHI: Group Chief Executive Officer of Al Baraka Group Houssem Ben Haj Amor has been named among Forbes Middle East’s Top 100 CEOs for 2026, the bank announced on Tuesday.

The annual ranking features executives from companies operating across sectors in the Middle East.Ben Haj Amor’s inclusion comes as Al Baraka Group pursues a strategy focused on greater coordination among its banking subsidiaries, operational transformation and revenue diversification across its markets.

Since taking over as group CEO, Ben Haj Amor has overseen initiatives aimed at strengthening collaboration among the group’s subsidiary banks and developing banking services in response to changes in the financial services and Islamic banking sectors.

The group has reported growth across several financial and operational indicators, supported by the geographic diversity of its markets and the business activities of its banking subsidiaries, despite regional and global economic volatility.

Al Baraka Group is also working to improve operational efficiency and expand cooperation among its subsidiaries while developing its Islamic banking products and services, the statement said.
