KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs2,400 per tola on Tuesday in the local market following a rise in the international market.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association stated that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs459,736 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,058 to Rs394,149.Gold rates increased by $8 to $4,373 per ounce in the international market.
Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates increased by Rs62 to Rs6,965 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs53 to Rs5,971.
