LAHORE: Two foreign women, who have accused five men of kidnapping, extortion and rape in Lahore, have recorded detailed statements before a judicial magistrate, alleging that they were subjected to repeated sexual and physical assaults after being lured to Pakistan by a business associate.

The case came to light after an FIR was registered at Defence C Police Station against five suspects, including Muhammad Raza Dar, over allegations of kidnapping, extortion and rape involving a Dutch and a Spanish national.

All the five accused are currently on physical remand as police continue investigation.

According to the Dutch complainant’s statement before the magistrate, she and the Spanish woman travelled to Pakistan at the invitation of Raza Dar, whom they had met in Singapore in October 2025 during discussions regarding a business venture. She stated that Raza Dar arranged for their visas and initially hosted them for several days, taking them sightseeing, shopping, dining and introducing them to prospective investors.

The complainant alleged that on June 29, he drove both women to Lahore, saying they would attend his aunt’s birthday celebration. Upon reaching the house, she alleged that four armed men entered their room, restrained and assaulted them, while Raza Dar initially pretended to be a victim.

She further alleged that during the night, Dar and another suspect, whom other men referred to as “boss”, used her mobile phone to transfer approximately $17,000 to a cryptocurrency wallet.

The Spanish complainant also recorded her statement before the magistrate, alleging that one of the suspects physically assaulted her, touched her inappropriately and repeatedly punched her in the face.

She further alleged that Raza Dar later entered the room asking about a computer and money, to which she responded that both were inside a green bag.

According to her statement, when she questioned the men, she was hit on the head with a pistol butt.

The complainant stated that she was later taken to a bedroom on the second floor, where an English-speaking man allegedly warned her that if the money was handed over, they would be allowed to live, otherwise they would be killed.

She alleged that after the man left, three other suspects entered the room. According to her statement, the men repeatedly demanded sexual acts, which she said she refused.

The Spanish national further alleged that she was later taken to another room, where one of the suspects slapped her for crying and raped her repeatedly.

According to her statement, the assault stopped after she screamed.

Police had earlier stated that the case was registered after an emergency call led to a rescue operation in which both women were recovered.

The accused have not publicly responded to the allegations, and the case is under investigation.
