KARACHI: Gold prices fell by Rs43 per tola on Saturday, following a decline in the international bullion rates.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) said 24-karat gold dropped to Rs437,993 per tola, while the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs39 to Rs374,166.
The prices dropped by $0.43 in international markets, where gold settled at $4,155.57 per ounce. Local prices in Pakistan are typically benchmarked against global rates, with a $20-per-ounce premium.
Silver rates, however, increased by Rs16 to Rs6,962. The 10-gram rate also rose by Rs14 to Rs5,909.
