LAHORE:A state-of-the-art computer lab was inaugurated at the Government Graduate College, Samanabad on Thursday. According to a press release, the computer lab has cost around Rs12 million and is supported by Tareen Education Foundation.
Speaking on the occasion, Jahangir Khan Tareen said that seeing students learning on modern computers gives him immense satisfaction and encouragement. He emphasized that real change can only be achieved through modern and quality education, which not only creates new employment opportunities but also ensures social development.
Government Graduate College Samanabad Principal Dr Arifa Zareen said that the college’s previous computer lab was insufficient to meet the needs of its students. Expressing her gratitude to the Tareen Education Foundation, she stated that the new computer lab would prove to be a milestone in providing modern education to students and would greatly benefit them.
