ISLAMABAD. A court in Islamabad cancelled the non-bailable arrest warrants of former Khyber Pakh tunkhwa (KP) chiefminister Ali Amin Gandapur after he surrendered in the audio leak case on Wednesday. During the hearing con ducted by duty judge Javed Iqbal Supra, former KP CM Gandapur and co-accused Asad Farooq appeared in the court. Gandapur’s lawyer Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan took the stand that an incomplete challan had been submitted to the court in this case, and filed an application to sus pend the warrants. The court initially reserved its decision on the application and later can celled the arrest warrant and adjourned the hearing of the case. Talking to the media, Gandapur said he wanted to consult with PTI founder Imran Khan regarding the budget, adding the delay in the provincial budget was due to the lack of a meet ing. “Denying a meeting with Khan is a big injus tice,” he added. He further said there were no factions in the party, but some people had differ ences, adding the legitimate views of those who have dif ferences should be heard.
