ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday gave his assent to four important bills, paving the way for their enactment into law.
The approved legislation includes the Carriage by Air (Amendment) Bill, 2026, the Pakistan Airports Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026, the Fiscal Responsibility and Debt Limitation (Amendment) Bill, 2026, and the Iqbal Academy (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
In a separate development, the president also approved the appointment of Ms. Ayesha Humaira Chaudhry as a member of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC).
