Bilawal contacts Gilgit-Baltistan PPP president

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a telephonic conversation with PPP Gilgit-Baltistan President Amjad Hussain Advocate and congratulated him on the party’s success in the recent elections.

During the conversation, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the PPP would form the government in Gilgit-Baltistan.

He directed the party leadership to establish contact with all successful members of the assembly and make efforts to carry them along in the government formation process.

The PPP chairman said his desire was to see the establishment of a government in Gilgit-Baltistan based on reconciliation, inclusiveness and broad consensus. He instructed the party organisation to reach out to all elected lawmakers and seek their support for the formation of the next government.

Bilawal expressed hope that, with the cooperation of all democratic forces, a stable government reflecting the aspirations of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan would be formed.
