ALPURI: Three persons, including two brothers, were killed when a tractor-trolley carrying passengers plunged into a ravine in the upper area of Banar Khwargai in Shangla district on Friday.
Police officials said that the tractor-trolley was traveling from Banar Khwargai to Karoora when the driver lost control of the vehicle on a link road in Dherai Union Council, and the vehicle fell into a gorge. The deceased were identified as Akbar Hussain and Akhtar Hussain, sons of Pekhawaray, and Fawad Ali, son of Umar Rahman, all residents of Banar Khwargai. Officials said all three victims died at the scene.Following the incident, Rescue 1122 teams, residents, and personnel from Karoora Police Station rushed to the site and launched rescue and recovery operations.
