The Sindh government on Thursday announced timelines for the declaration of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examination results across the province, directing educational boards to release matric results by July 10 and Intermediate results by July 31.

The decision was taken at a meeting of all educational boards chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Mohammad Ismail Rahoo. The meeting was attended by Secretary Universities Mohammad Abbas Baloch and chairmen of all educational boards in the province.

The participants reviewed the recently concluded annual matric and Intermediate examinations, while board chairmen briefed the meeting on examination arrangements and progress in their respective divisions.

Minister Rahoo said all educational boards had been directed to ensure the announcement of matric results by July 10 and Intermediate results by July 31. He said examination results should be declared within the stipulated timeframe to facilitate students seeking admission to colleges and universities. The minister added that the provincial government would extend full support to educational boards to strengthen transparency, merit and the overall examination system.

During the meeting, board chairmen informed participants that results of Class IX and Class XI examinations would also be announced by August 31. Officials further reported that examination duties of teams showing “zero performance” during examinations in Sukkur Division had been cancelled.

Secretary Universities Mohammad Abbas Baloch informed the meeting that several cases had been registered in Karachi against individuals accused of violating Section 144 during the examination period.
