Leading teams achieve wins in Inter-Departmental Kabaddi

ISLAMABAD: Leading teams achieved wins in the Inter-Departmental National Kabaddi Championship (Asian Style) being organized by the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) at Liaquat Gymnasium, Islamabad.

Army, WAPDA, Navy and Air Force secured impressive victories on the second day. Six departments Army, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force, WAPDA, Police and Airport Security Force (ASF) are participating in the round-robin championship, competing for top honours.

Army defeated Airport Security Force (ASF) by 55-39 points. Air Force edged past Police in a thrilling contest, claiming a narrow 50-49 victory. Navy also recorded a convincing win, defeating ASF by 41-25 points, while WAPDA outclassed Air Force with a 50-35 victory.

The championship continues to provide exciting kabaddi action, with the participating departments displaying a high level of skill and competitiveness in their quest for the national title. Secretary Army Fitness and Sports Directorate, Colonel Nabeel Ahmed Rana, attended the event as the chief guest. He watched the matches alongside Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Secretary Muhammad Sarwar Rana, Deputy Director Navy Sports Directorate Lieutenant Commodore Kaleemullah, and other distinguished guests.
