D-License Football Coaching Course for sports teachers held

KARACHI: Foundation Public School & Head Start School System organised a five-day D-License Football Coaching Course for its sports teachers as part of its continued commitment to promoting football at the grassroots level.

The course was conducted in collaboration with Pakistan Football Federation under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between both organizations two months ago.

FPHS proudly became the first school system in Pakistan to sign an MoU with the Pakistan Football Federation for the development and promotion of football in schools. Under this partnership, PFF assured its full support in providing professional coaching education and training opportunities for school sports teachers and students.

The D-License Coaching Course was conducted at the FPS Junior Campus, where 30 sports teachers from Foundation Public School & Head Start School System actively participated.

The course was supervised by Akhtar Mohiuddin, one of the most senior and experienced football coaches.

During the intensive five-day program, Akhtar conducted 15 hours of theoretical sessions along with 20 hours of practical field training. The sessions focused on modern football coaching methodologies, player development, technical and tactical understanding of the game, fitness training, and grassroots football management.

Yasmeen Raza Minhas (Founder Principal FPS & HSS), along with the Vice President of JS Global Mr. Mubashir Anees and Abdula Wahab Sultan (Executive Director Seccotel), who sponsored the course, attended the closing ceremony and appreciated the efforts of the participants and organizers.
