KARACHI: Geo Films and Filmwala’s upcoming action-packed film “Zombied” generated immense excitement during a grand promotional event held at one of Karachi’s largest shopping malls in the Gulshan area.
The film, which blends horror, thriller, suspense, and adventure, attracted a huge crowd as the main cast made a surprise appearance, delighting fans eager to meet their favorite stars.
The event was attended by producer and writer Fiza Ali Mirza, renowned director Nabeel Qureshi, superstar actor Fahad Mustafa, and actor Mani, among others.
Fahad Mustafa received a thunderous welcome from hundreds of fans upon his arrival. Addressing the enthusiastic crowd amid loud cheers and applause, he said the film was made for family entertainment and would add excitement to the festive season. He urged audiences to support Pakistani cinema, saying local films should become strong enough to attract global attention. In a humorous remark, he joked that roads in Karachi are not built as quickly as films are made, drawing laughter from the audience. He also distributed prizes among attendees during the event.
Director Nabeel Qureshi said audiences have always supported his work because of its unique content. He described “Zombied” as Pakistan’s first film of its kind and expressed confidence that it would bring audiences to cinemas in unprecedented numbers.
Large crowds gathered at the mall to take selfies with the cast and praised the promotional campaign, congratulating the entire team on the upcoming release.
Actors portraying zombies in the film also appeared in elaborate makeup and costumes, entertaining visitors with their performances and adding to the excitement of the event.
Fans captured the entire event on their mobile phones while chants of “Zombied” echoed throughout the mall.
Geo Films has previously produced several successful and acclaimed films, including Khuda Kay Liye, Teefa in Trouble, The Legend of Maula Jatt, Donkey King, and The Glassworker.
