KARACHI: MG Motor Pakistan has announced ready delivery availability of the MG HS plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) ahead of Eidul Azha, aiming to cater to seasonal demand typically seen in the run-up to the festive period.

The company said customers can receive the current-generation MG HS PHEV without extended waiting times.

As part of its ongoing ‘Start Smart’ initiative, MG Motor Pakistan said the ex-factory and on-road prices for buyers of the first-generation MG HS PHEV remain unchanged, offering what it described as additional savings for customers.

The MG HS PHEV combines plug-in hybrid technology with conventional driving capabilities, offering more than 50 kilometres of electric-only range along with driver assistance and safety features designed for both urban and highway use.

Jianqiang Shao, chief executive officer of MG Motor Pakistan, said Eid is a period of increased vehicle demand in Pakistan, with many buyers seeking timely deliveries before the holidays.

“Through the ready availability of the MG HS PHEV, we aim to offer a more convenient ownership experience during this high-demand period,” he said in a statement.

The announcement comes amid rising consumer interest in hybrid and other new energy vehicles (NEVs) in Pakistan, particularly in urban centres where demand is increasingly driven by fuel efficiency and lower emissions considerations.

Customers can obtain further information on bookings and deliveries through MG Motor Pakistan dealerships nationwide.
