BARA: Three people were killed and two others, including a woman, were injured in a firing incident outside the main gate of the Municipal Building in Bara Tehsil on Wednesday, official sources said.
The sources said the incident occurred in the busy Bara Bazaar area when an exchange of fire suddenly erupted between two armed groups. As a result of the firing, three people lost their lives on the spot.
The deceased were identified as Mahmood Khan, Ilyas Khan, and a passerby, Fazal Mohammad, while a woman and Zala Akbar were injured in the incident. The injured and the bodies were shifted to Dogra Hospital.Police collected evidence from the crime scene and launched an investigation into the case.Police said the incident was linked to an old enmity.
