ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah on Tuesday directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to complete the additional 104 family suites at the Parliament Lodges within the stipulated time and maintain high standards in all aspects of construction, management and security arrangements.
He was chairing a meeting of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on House and Library at the Parliament House to discuss the completion of additional 104 family suites at the Parliament Lodges. The committee reviewed the progress on the construction of family suites and discussed matters relating to management and upkeep of the Parliament Lodges. Senior officers of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) briefed the committee on the ongoing work.
The committee was informed that 104 family suites would be completed by June this year.
The committee also emphasised effective management and proper maintenance of the Parliament Lodges to ensure a conducive and secure environment for residents. The issue of installation of CCTV cameras at the MNA Hostel and matters relating to its security were also discussed.
