CHITRAL: Employees urged the government to address their concerns immediately. A protest rally in support of employees’ demands was attended by a large number of government workers from different departments.
Speakers included Zia-ur-Rehman, Khairullah Hawari, Waqar Ahmad, Maulana Muhammad Qasim, Muhammad Ashraf, Saleem Abbas, Nisar Ahmad, Saud Azad, and others.
SWAT: Employees staged a protest outside the Swat Press Club in support of their demands. A large number of representatives from various government departments and employee organizations across the district participated in the demonstration.
Sarfraz Khan, Ali Rehman, Hafiz Muhammad Ali, Nawab Gul, and several leaders from teachers’, paramedics’, professors’, and other employees’ associations criticized the government for failing to provide adequate relief amid soaring inflation.
CHARSADDA: The protest was staged outside the Charsadda Press Club. Employees carried banners and placards bearing slogans in support of their demands.
Salman Khan said that an increase in salaries in line with the current inflation rate had become unavoidable, as existing pay scales were insufficient to meet basic household needs.He also demanded the abolition of the CP Fund policy and the restoration of the GP Fund system.Protests were staged as well in other districts of the province which were well-participated.
