QUETTA: Train services from Quetta to other parts of the country have been suspended.

According to railway officials, the suspension resulted in the Jaffar Express, bound for Peshawar, being unable to depart on Saturday. Officials said the train service had been stopped due to unavoidable reasons, and as a result, the incoming Jaffar Express to Quetta would be returned from Jacobabad. Railway authorities further confirmed that the Bolan Mail service from Quetta to Karachi had already been suspended, while train services from Quetta to Chaman were also currently stopped.
