LAHORE: Hundreds of people took part in the Sports Board Punjab (SBP) organised the Marka-e-Haq Cycling event late Friday night at the Central Business District (CBD). The event drew hundreds of participants, including boys, girls, men, women, and children who joined event with great enthusiasm.
The cycling race began and concluded at the CBD after covering the designated route. Participants waved national flags and raised slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Army Zindabad”, creating a spirited atmosphere. DG Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi also distributed national flags among the cyclists, further energising the crowd.
DG Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi emphasised that the purpose of these sports events is to pay tribute to the Pakistan Army, noting that hockey and karate competitions had already been successfully organized earlier in the week.
