LAHORE:A citizen was deprived of cash worth approximately Rs2 million by two unidentified suspects at gunpoint in the Shafiqabad area, according to a FIR registered under Section 154 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Complainant M Sohail, son of M Jameel, a resident of Amin Park, stated that he runs a wholesale business of cigarettes and betel leaves in Anarkali. He said that after closing his shop at around 8:15pm, he placed approximately Rs2 million in a handbag and hung it on his motorcycle handle.
Upon reaching his residence, two unidentified men riding a motorcycle stopped near his gate. One of the suspects got off, pointed a pistol at him, and snatched the handbag and fled.Police have registered a case under Section 392 (robbery) and initiated an investigation.
