Rawalpindi:The 17th Annual Alumni Reunion of C.B College was held with great enthusiasm and turned out to be a truly grand and memorable affair, with nearly 100 alumni in attendance.
The event brought together women from different graduating years, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with warmth, nostalgia, and celebration. The hall echoed with laughter, cheerful chatter, and heartfelt reunions, as many alumni reconnected after decades—some meeting each other again after nearly 40 years. Cameras captured countless joyful moments as memories were relived and new ones created to be cherished and shared.
Addressing the gathering fondly as “girls,” Tahmeena Malik expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the strong turnout. She shared that seeing such enthusiasm made all her efforts worthwhile. She encouraged alumni to stay connected, support one another, and register within the alumni network to make future engagement easier and more meaningful.
A special highlight of the event was the presence of the senior-most alumna, Prof. Nusrat Khan (Class of 1963), who was invited to conduct the raffle draw. Adding a touch of fun and spontaneity, prizes were also awarded for lighthearted categories such as the first arrival, possession of a bill, and those celebrating a birthday or wedding anniversary.
Alumni were also presented with souvenirs featuring the college insignia, serving as a lasting token of the occasion. The most touching moment of the event came when Tahmeena Malik received a standing ovation from the audience in recognition of her dedication and tireless efforts in organizing and sustaining this alumni platform. Visibly moved, she thanked everyone for their continued support.
Shaheena Ayub Bhatti, while addressing the gathering, praised Tahmeena for her unwavering commitment to preserving the college’s legacy and fostering a strong sense of community among alumni.
The reunion concluded on a delightful note with a sumptuous tea, enjoyed by all attendees. The alumni unanimously expressed their appreciation for the event and strongly supported its continuation as an annual tradition.
