Rawalpindi:Transparency, merit, and accountability are being ensured across the education system. As a result, strict implementation of the zero-tolerance policy in examinations is ongoing.
Under the joint leadership of Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman and Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat, effective monitoring of the examination process has been ensured.
Under the active supervision of Commissioner and Chairman of the Rawalpindi Board, Engineer Aamir Khattak, modern technology is being utilized through the Command and Control Controller online monitoring, while mobile inspection teams are conducting continuous field visits to maintain discipline.
Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan visited examination centers including Government Boys High School, Koh-i-Noor Mills and Government Girls High School, Koh-i-Noor Mills.
According to him, five candidates were caught red-handed while cheating. Among them, two candidates were from Government MC Boys Central Model High School, Millat Colony Rawalpindi; two from Government Higher Secondary School, Danda Shah Bilawal (Talagang); and one from Government High School Mota Gharbi (Jhelum). Cases have been registered against these candidates and referred to the relevant discipline branch for further action.
