KARACHI: Hamdard University’s Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology received the Best Faculty Award at the conclusion of its Students’ Week 2026, having won the most championships among all faculties.
The week ended with a spectacular ceremony held in the university’s main auditorium, attended by Chancellor Madam Sadia Rashid (Hilal-e-Imtiaz) and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Imran Amin.
Throughout the week, students from seven faculties competed in various indoor and outdoor games for top honors. Special events included an auto show on Wednesday and a wrestling bonanza on Thursday. The tournaments featured various sports, including cricket, football, basketball, futsal, badminton, table tennis, throwball, volleyball, and chess.
