ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has issued a consolidated compendium of SOPs to ensure greater efficiency, transparency and uniformity in judicial and administrative functions.
Prepared with the approval of Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi, the compendium brings together SOPs, office orders and policy guidelines across case management, public facilitation, internal governance, protocols and infrastructure and operational management.
It standardises key processes, including case fixation, timelines for case processing, digitization and e-filing, early hearing mechanisms and handling of jail petitions, aimed at improving efficiency and reducing delays.
The compendium also strengthens litigant facilitation and grievance redressal mechanism, while introducing structured administrative and safety protocols to support uninterrupted and effective court operations.
The initiative reflects the Supreme Court’s commitment to institutional strengthening, process standardization and efficient, citizen-centric justice delivery.
The full text of the compendium is available on the official website of the Supreme Court at www.supremecourt.gov.pk., says a press release issued on Tuesday.
