KARACHI: Novo Nordisk has introduced its ‘Live Lighter’ initiative in Pakistan, marking an expansion of its obesity care portfolio in the local market. The initiative was launched in Karachi during a programme on Saturday evening.
The programme aims to improve awareness, diagnosis and treatment of obesity, a condition linked to multiple chronic diseases and rising healthcare costs. The initiative reflects the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in emerging markets by addressing non-communicable diseases through partnerships with healthcare providers and policymakers.
Officials said the move is part of ongoing efforts to integrate obesity management into mainstream healthcare services and promote physician-led treatment approaches.
