LAHORE : Hot and dry weather with partly cloudy conditions was recorded in the city here on Saturday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials predicted that intermittent rain in various districts of Punjab, including the provincial capital, from Sunday to May 4. In view of the possible rains, the PDMA has also issued an alert and directed the relevant agencies to remain alert.
The average AQI of the city was 100, which fell in the category of moderate while the PM2.5 concentration was six times the World Health Organisation annual PM2.5 guideline value.
Met officials said the minimum temperature in the city was 24°C and the maximum was 38°C.
