PESHAWAR: The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has intensified its ongoing campaign against property tax defaulters in Peshawar, taking legal action to recover outstanding dues from major defaulters.

According to official communique, the operation is being conducted under the supervision of Tauseef Khan (ETO-II, Property Tax Peshawar). Field teams led by Assistant Excise and Taxation Officers Nasir Mehmood Khan and Zar Ali Khan carried out actions in different areas of the city.

Officials said several property owners failed to clear their outstanding tax dues despite repeated notices, prompting the department to initiate legal proceedings and seal multiple properties belonging to persistent defaulters.

The Excise Department has urged all property owners to clear their dues on time to avoid strict legal action, penalties, and inconvenience. It added that the campaign will continue in order to ensure tax compliance and strengthen provincial revenue collection.
